Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain kindred midrange build led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The strategy focuses on curving out low-cost Villain creatures and using repeated connive triggers to loot through the library, grow threats with +1/+1 counters, and drain opposing life totals whenever land cards are discarded. Once a solid board is established, the deck transitions into lethal combat via unblockable or flying enablers like Herald of Secret Streams, Wonder, and The Squadron Sinister, or asymmetric board sweeps like Raise the Palisade. It protects its development with efficient interaction including Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, while utilizing counter retention from The Ozolith to maintain offensive momentum through removal.
