Lyna, Veil of Vengeance by GrizzlyBear44

Format: Commander

Commander: Lyna, Veil of Vengeance

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Esper stax-control deck uses Lyna, Veil of Vengeance as a card-draw engine. Lyna gives shadow counters to make your creatures unblockable and draws a card whenever a shadow creature deals combat damage. You slow the table with hatebears such as Drannith Magistrate, Linvala, Keeper of Silence, Thalia, Heretic Cathar, and Grand Abolisher, while you pull ahead with Rhystic Study, Esper Sentinel, and The One Ring. The main win is an infinite life-drain loop with Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Sanguine Bond, Exquisite Blood, or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Shadow combat, Unstoppable Slasher, Archon of Cruelty, and Sheoldred provide secondary pressure. Bloodthirsty Conqueror acts as the hidden commander.
