Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Changeling typal soup deck commanded by Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch. Because shapeshifters with changeling possess every creature type simultaneously, they trigger every specialized typal payoff in Magic history. Manaweft Sliver, Gemhide Sliver, and Katilda, Dawnhart Prime turn every creature into a rainbow mana dork, which Urtet untaps at the beginning of each combat step. This mana velocity quickly fuels devastating cross-tribal payoffs: Azami, Lady of Scrolls and Voja, Jaws of the Conclave draw massive bursts of cards, Galecaster Colossus repeatedly bounces opposing nonland permanents, Reaper King destroys permanents on each creature entry, and Gilt-Leaf Archdruid steals opponents' entire land bases. Asymmetric sweepers like Crux of Fate and Kindred Dominance wipe opposing boards while sparing your changelings, clearing the path for lethal overrun attacks powered by Urtet's +1/+1 counter activation or Mirror Entity.
