Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet Spellslinger and Storm strategy commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both an escalating burn engine and a potent mana generator, gaining +1/+1 counters and dealing one damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast, while tapping into its power for a massive burst of blue and red mana once each turn. The supporting list features a dense suite of one-mana cantrips, efficient cost reducers like Goblin Electromancer and Stormcatch Mentor, and trigger multipliers including Harmonic Prodigy and Veyran, Voice of Duality. Card advantage engines such as Archmage Emeritus and Curiosity turn every cheap spell into a fresh hand, enabling extended storm turns. The deck closes games around Turn 5 through cumulative table-wide ping damage, massive finishers like Crackle with Power and Aetherflux Reservoir, or an infinite draw-damage loop with Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity.
