Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Human tribal combat deck commanded by Aragorn, King of Gondor. The central game plan revolves around leveraging Aragorn's monarch-triggered ability, which prevents all opposing creatures from blocking when he attacks. Early turns focus on developing low-cost Human synergies, ramp, and token generators such as Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon and Horn of Gondor. Once Aragorn enters on Turn 4, you take the monarch crown and immediately threaten the table with unblockable swings. To defend the monarch against counterattacks, the list incorporates a resilient pillowfort suite featuring Propaganda, Windborn Muse, Norn's Annex, and Champions of Minas Tirith. Midgame scaling is powered by exponential token growth and board-wide anthems like Beregond of the Guard, Door of Destinies, and Nykthos Paragon. Additional stax pieces such as Karn, the Great Creator and Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir shut down opposing artifact engines and instant-speed responses, enabling a clean table knockout around Turn 7.
