Commander: Black Waltz No. 3

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Black Waltz No. 3 is a Rakdos spellslinger deck that turns every noncreature spell into a miniature burn spell. The main plan is to land the commander, then stack additional 'whenever you cast a noncreature spell' triggers from Black Mage's Rod and Cornered by Black Mages, turning each cantrip or removal spell into a 4-damage drain to all opponents. Card draw and treasure generation keep the chain going. A secondary amass-Goblins beatdown plan, supported by Goblin Plate Mail and Misty Mountains Raider, provides an alternate finish when the ping engine is incomplete. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built entirely around the commander's drain trigger.
