Deck overview

This Abzan Reanimator deck converts life manipulation and self-mill into explosive creature deployment. Led by Betor, Ancestor's Voice, the deck pairs life-loss outlets like Wall of Blood and Doom Whisperer with high-impact reanimation targets such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Apex Altisaur. At the end step, Betor evaluates the total life lost and recurs a matching creature directly from the graveyard to the battlefield, while converting lifegain into large +1/+1 counter buffs on supporting attackers. Backup reanimation spells like Living Death, Reanimate, and Eerie Ultimatum ensure the deck functions smoothly even without its commander.
