Commander: Morophon, the Boundless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This five-color Sliver list uses Morophon, the Boundless as a cost-reduction anthem: naming Sliver makes most of the hive nearly free and pads every body with +1/+1. The 99 does not actually need him. Sliver Overlord is a repeatable tribal tutor, The First Sliver and Maelstrom Nexus cascade extra permanents onto the stack, and Jodah, Archmage Eternal plus Fist of Suns already supply the WUBRG alternate cost the five-color bombs want. Type-makers - Arcane Adaptation, Maskwood Nexus, and Hivestone - fold the non-Sliver package into the tribal rewards so Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Protean Hulk, and the haymakers still count. The deck wins by flooding the board with Hatchery Sliver and Thrumming Hivepool, finishing through Craterhoof Behemoth or Coat of Arms, or assembling Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker with Intruder Alarm for infinite hasty tokens. Sneak Attack and Genesis Wave cheat the top of the curve into play when mana is short.
