Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Combo-Control build that combines fast mana, black tutors, and compact win conditions with a discard-punishment package. Nominally led by Crosis, the Purger, the deck rarely casts its commander, instead leveraging an elite mana base and powerful artifacts like Chrome Mox and Sol Ring to accelerate development. The primary game plan seeks to assemble Thassa's Oracle alongside Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, resolving a same-turn instant win on Turn 4. Supporting engines like Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and The One Ring fuel hand replenishment, while Chains of Mephistopheles, Opposition Agent, and Orcish Bowmasters suppress opponents' draw engines and searches. Should the primary line fail, Underworld Breach acts as a potent backup engine, enabling recursion loops through Lion's Eye Diamond and wheel effects to close out the game.
