Commander: The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 35

Deck overview

This mono-green deck harnesses The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl to build an exponentially expanding army of Squirrel tokens. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with land ramp and token-to-mana converters such as Cryptolith Rite and Jaheira, Friend of the Forest. Once the commander enters the battlefield, its activated ability doubles your Squirrel count every turn cycle. The deck converts this overwhelming token count into game-ending combat damage using classic finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth, Overrun, and Preposterous Proportions. Additionally, the list contains a compact infinite combo with Ivy Lane Denizen and Scurry Oak, which creates an arbitrarily large creature and infinite Squirrel tokens. While highly resilient in generating mana and recurring threats, the deck relies heavily on creature combat and remains exposed to sweepers, utilizing targeted hexproof spells and combat fogs to navigate around opposing interaction until it closes the game.
