Teval Mill Deck by Pe1ican117

Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Sultai self-mill reanimator deck built around Teval, the Balanced Scale. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard through mill effects, use Teval's attack trigger to recur lands, and convert graveyard churn into Zombie Druid tokens, card draw, and Treasure. The deck wins through large graveyard-based creatures such as Lord of Extinction and Consuming Aberration, finished with Essence Harvest or Jarad's sacrifice ability. It also includes a resilient combo loop with Gravecrawler plus a sacrifice outlet. The commander is a value engine rather than essential, providing additional token generation and land recursion. The hidden commander is Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, as the deck contains enough sacrifice outlets and recursion to enable its transformation and repeated drain. The deck is built primarily to abuse the back face's emblem, while the front face provides card draw and transform condition.
