Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Mono-Green Voltron and Stompy strategy helmed by Blor the Impervious. By combining printed hexproof, indestructible, and trample directly in the command zone, the deck eliminates the standard vulnerabilities of Voltron commanders to spot removal and sweepers. The early game focuses on deploying 1-to-2 CMC ramp spells like Sol Ring, Llanowar Elves, and Three Visits to land Blor on Turn 3 or 4. Once assembled, the deck modifies Blor's combat stats using high-efficiency power multipliers such as Blackblade Reforged, Belt of Giant Strength, Fireshrieker, and Colossification. Massive power enables explosive card draw through spells like Rishkar's Expertise and Return of the Wildspeaker. Backup win conditions feature token swarms with Rampaging Baloths and an infinite mana loop between Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and Umbral Mantle. Targeted protection pieces like Veil of Summer and Tajuru Preserver safeguard the strategy against countermagic and forced sacrifice effects.
