Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Selesnya Hydra deck is built around the back face of its commander, Polukranos, Engine of Ruin. The front face is a setup that must be transformed, not a standalone game plan. The primary path is to lower Hydra costs with Gargos, transform Polukranos, and turn nontoken Hydra deaths into a pair of 3/3 tokens each, then multiply those tokens with Renewed Solidarity. Secondary plans include big-mana Hydras and alpha strikes from Finale of Devastation or Unnatural Growth. The deck has no infinite combos and relies on combat, though the commander's token engine gives it a wide-board finish.
