Bears by michaeljager721

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-green deck is built around Beorn the Fierce as a Bear tribal lord and draw engine. Beorn's +2/+2 anthem, trample counter, and two-card draw trigger reward a wide board of Bears, changelings, and Bear tokens. The primary plan is to accelerate with mana dorks and land ramp, reduce Beorn's cost with Goreclaw, and beat down with trampling bears. Secondary paths are Beorn commander damage, token generation from Ayula's Influence and Dancing from Dark to Dawn, and the two multiplicative finishers Unnatural Growth and Beastmaster Ascension. There is no double-faced commander; the deck is built around Beorn's front face. Ojer Kaslem is a value transformation land, not a hidden commander.
