Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Rakdos reanimator spellslinger strategy commanded by Magar of the Magic Strings. The central game plan bypasses exorbitant mana costs on devastating instants and sorceries by placing them into the graveyard early and reanimating them as face-down 3/3 creatures for just {1}{B}{R}. When these creatures deal combat damage to an opponent, Magar creates a free copy of the noted spell to cast without paying its mana cost. Connecting with Rise of the Eldrazi establishes an infinite extra-turn loop that draws the deck and annihilates opposing boards. Redundant unblockability equipment and haste enablers ensure puppets connect immediately upon entering. If Magar is suppressed, the deck retains high-potency backup lines via red rituals and an infinite mana combo using Mana Geyser and Reiterate.
