Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Rakdos Group Slug and Combo build commanded by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The strategy weaponizes incremental life loss by pairing low-cost punishers like Razorkin Needlehead, Orcish Bowmasters, and Roiling Vortex with Ob Nixilis. Each time an opponent loses exactly 1 life, Ob Nixilis grows and provides impulse card draw. This engine converts symmetrical wheel effects such as Wheel of Fortune, Winds of Change, and Reforge the Soul into massive card bursts and commander damage. The deck features a compact two-card infinite combo between Ob Nixilis and All Will Be One, which deals infinite damage to the table off any single 1-life trigger. A defensive suite of redirect spells, red elemental blasts, and stax pieces like Opposition Agent protects the commander and impedes opposing combos.
