The GOAT by Apeluso

Format: Commander

Commander: Zedruu the Greathearted

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zedruu is a value donation engine: the deck gives away small gifts to draw cards and gain life, then converts that engine into one of several independent win conditions. The primary path is the two-card Transcendence + Fractured Identity combo, which hands every opponent a Transcendence token while they are above 20 life. Secondary plans include donating Transcendence directly, Felidar Sovereign life-gain, Aetherflux Reservoir, Triskaidekaphile, and Approach of the Second Sun. Pillow-fort effects (Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, Windborn Muse, Silent Arbiter) keep the table off you while you assemble the finisher. There is no hidden commander; Zedruu is the card-advantage engine, and most other legendaries are donation or draw accelerators.
