Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages lifegain triggers and incremental life drain to build resources and execute an infinite combo. Led by Niv-Mizzet, Ghost Counsel, the deck converts life gained into card advantage while taxing opponents with hate pieces like Drannith Magistrate, Blind Obedience, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. The primary win condition combines an opponent-damage trigger such as Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with a drain piece like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, or Marauding Blight-Priest. When either side of the loop triggers, the two cards trigger each other indefinitely, eliminating all three opponents in a single turn. Backed by cheap white removal and protective spells like Teferi's Protection, the deck maintains steady board control while assembling its combo pieces.
