Deck overview

This Sedris, the Traitor King Commander deck is a Grixis reanimator engine designed to cheat devastating, high-cost creatures into play well ahead of curve. The deck combines traditional reanimation spells like Animate Dead and Persist with Sedris's ability to grant all creatures in the graveyard unearth for {2}{B}. To break parity on unearth's exile clause, the deck runs clever turn-ending mechanics via Sundial of the Infinite, Obeka, Brute Chronologist, and Teferi's Veil, allowing temporary reanimation targets to remain on the battlefield indefinitely. Heavy hitters like Archon of Cruelty, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, and Massacre Wurm dismantle opposing resources through severe hand disruption and board wipes, while Flayer of the Hatebound converts graveyard entries into direct damage. Additionally, the list houses a compact infinite combo with Worldgorger Dragon and Animate Dead to generate unbounded mana and enter-the-battlefield triggers, closing out games efficiently while maintaining resilience across protracted multiplayer battles.
