Deck overview

The First Sliver commands a five-color tribal aggro deck engineered to overwhelm opponents through cascading creature swarms. The primary game plan accelerates mana fixing in the early turns using mana-dork Slivers like Gemhide Sliver and Manaweft Sliver to cast the commander by Turn 4. Once in play, every Sliver cast cascades into lower-cost spells, rapidly filling the board with synergistic keywords. Evasion from Galerider Sliver and Shifting Sliver, haste from Cloudshredder Sliver, and exponential stat buffs from Sliver Legion and Coat of Arms quickly turn the swarm into a lethal force. The deck protects its board using Crystalline Sliver, Sliver Hivelord, and Teferi's Protection, while Patriarch's Bidding provides powerful recovery against sweepers. Although it lacks compact two-card infinite combos, the deck reliably establishes dominant board states and finishes all three opponents through combat damage by Turn 6.
