Deck overview

This is a Naya (RGW) lands-and-artifacts combo deck helmed by Toph, the First Metalbender. Toph's static ability turns nontoken artifacts into lands, and her end-step earthbend animates lands into hasty creature-lands carrying +1/+1 counters. The deck exploits this to generate explosive mana through Kami of Whispered Hopes (doubling counters and tapping for X), Badgermole Cub (bonus green when tapping creatures for mana), and Ashaya, Soul of the Wild (creatures become Forests). That mana feeds a deep artifact-combo channel: Basalt Monolith + Clock of Omens, Krark-Clan Ironworks + Mycosynth Lattice, and Grinding Station loops, all converging on Walking Ballista or Aetherflux Reservoir as the kill. A dense tutor suite - Chord of Calling, Eldritch Evolution, Sylvan Scrying, Urza's Cave, Urza's Saga, Moonsilver Key - ensures the deck reliably finds its pieces.
