Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Esper Infect Voltron Control deck led by Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima. Jin provides consistent card advantage and combat adaptability by granting attacking creatures either unblockable evasion or double strike. The deck leverages this ability by pairing Jin and efficient infect creatures like Blighted Agent and Phyrexian Crusader with potent power buffs and poison enablers such as Phyresis, Tainted Strike, and Idolized. By applying poison early and utilizing double strike, the deck eliminates opponents in rapid succession or finishes the table through mass proliferation with Expansion Algorithm and Flux Channeler. Supporting this proactive clock is a robust control shell featuring premier free interaction, targeted removal, and asymmetric stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate, Silent Arbiter, and Spider-Woman, Stunning Savior. These cards constrict opposing combat and resources while keeping Jin safe, creating an aggressive, resilient, and highly interactive game plan.
