Commander: Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar leads a Selesnya +1/+1 counter deck whose main plan is to build a wide, trampling team and finish with a single overwhelming combat step. Kutzil is the primary card-draw engine and a turn-protection piece: its 'opponents can't cast spells during your turn' ability keeps the alpha strike largely uninteractive. Secondary paths include a free or near-free Ghalta, Primal Hunger once the board is large, and an alternate infect kill with Grafted Exoskeleton, but the core is counter multiplication with Branching Evolution and Hardened Scales, distribution through Mikaeus and Sovereign Okinec Ahau, and a Craterhoof Behemoth finish. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around both Kutzil's combat draw and its turn lock.
