Format: Commander

Commander: Gishath, Sun's Avatar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gishath, Sun's Avatar is the engine and finisher of a Naya Dinosaur beatdown deck. The primary line is ramp and cost reduction into an early Gishath, whose haste lets it attack immediately; the combat-damage trigger cheats two or three Dinosaurs onto the battlefield. Pantlaza, Sun-Favored and the two Etalis act as hidden engines, generating extra cards and free spells. A second big-mana push-Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Finale of Devastation, or a cheap Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant-builds a board with enough total power that Akroma's Will or Savage Beating turns it into a one-turn kill. The plan is straightforward but depends on the commander's first hit and on protecting the resulting board from wraths.
