Commander: Tsagan, Raider Warlord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tsagan, Raider Warlord leads a Mardu token-combat deck that attacks with first-strike/double-strike hordes and converts a wide board into extra combat damage. The primary plan is to develop attack-trigger token producers, double their triggers with Isshin and Windcrag Siege, then use Full Throttle, All-Out Assault, Aurelia, or Combat Celebrant to attack three or more times in a turn. Tsagan acts as both a scalable attacker and a lord: his attack trigger pumps the whole team while the deck's many first-strike effects make that pump large. The secondary plan is a commander-damage finish by pumping Tsagan and hitting with double strike. The hidden commander is Isshin, Two Heavens as One, since the deck is built to maximize attack triggers.
