Commander: Zenos yae Galvus // Shinryu, Transcendent Rival

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mono-black voltron/midrange built around Zenos yae Galvus. The front face applies a mini board wipe and marks an opponent's creature; killing that creature flips Zenos into Shinryu, Transcendent Rival, whose Burning Chains turns a single player elimination into a game win. The primary line is to tutor for a one-hit finisher-Grafted Exoskeleton, Fireshrieker, Vorpal Sword, or Summon: Primal Odin-equip it to Shinryu, and eliminate the chosen opponent. Secondary drains (Exsanguinate, Gray Merchant) and Skithiryx infect provide alternate clocks. The deck trades combo speed for redundancy: lots of removal, modest draw, and heavy protection/recursion keep the commander alive long enough to land one decisive attack.
