Deck overview

This Jeskai deck leverages Captain America, First Avenger as both a Voltron threat and a repeatable removal engine. By using Captain America's Catch ability, the deck bypasses steep equip costs on massive weapons like Colossus Hammer, Kaldra Compleat, and Excalibur, Sword of Eden. The Throw ability converts high mana value equipment into direct damage to clear blockers or burn opponents. A dense package of low-cost equipment tutors and card-draw engines like Puresteel Paladin and Sram, Senior Edificer ensures consistent assembly. Backup equip enablers such as Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Forge Anew keep the aggressive strategy functional if the commander is removed. Strong defensive spells like Flawless Maneuver and Boros Charm protect key permanents against sweepers. The deck also includes an infinite colorless mana combo with Basalt Monolith and Zirda, the Dawnwaker, giving it an alternate explosive route to victory.
