Deck overview

This deck is a Boros aggro and Equipment strategy centered around Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient low-cost Dwarves during the early turns to build board presence and generate Treasure tokens. When Thorin enters the battlefield, he turns the accumulated artifact tokens into an anthem effect, giving every other Dwarf a significant power boost. The deck leverages Equipment synergies through cards like Stoneforge Mystic, Puresteel Paladin, and Bruenor Battlehammer, allowing cheap equipping and powerful combat triggers. Finishers like Akroma's Will, Embercleave, and Dáin of the Ancient Halls help push lethal combat damage past blockers, while an infinite combat line with Sword of Feast and Famine and Aggravated Assault provides an alternate win condition. The list is supported by strong defensive tools such as Teferi's Protection, Deflecting Swat, and Galadriel's Dismissal to protect its board against wipes and targeted removal.
