The Elves of Mirkwood by PupMidnight81

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is the engine: every legendary Elf entering replaces itself, and he turns a stocked graveyard into a toolbox of Elf activated abilities. The deck's primary plan is elfball ramp into an infinite-mana combo with Marwyn + Umbral Mantle or Bloom Tender/Elvish Archdruid + Staff of Domination, using Staff to draw the library and Lathril to drain. The secondary plan is an aggressive trample/haste swarm with Coat of Arms, Ezuri, Overwhelming Stampede, and Finale of Devastation. Lathril and Maralen provide extra value, but there is no hidden commander; Thranduil is the hub.
