Deck overview

This deck utilizes Darien, King of Kjeldor to turn incoming damage into an overwhelming army of 1/1 white Soldier creature tokens. It pairs Darien with soul sisters such as Soul Warden and Daxos, Blessed by the Sun, ensuring every point of damage taken is immediately recouped as life when the new Soldier tokens enter the battlefield. Self-damaging cards like Ankh of Mishra and Nomad Stadium allow proactive token creation even when opponents decline to attack. Once assembled, the deck pumps its tokens using lords like Captain of the Watch, Field Marshal, and Valiant Veteran to overrun the table. High-utility cards such as Horn of Gondor and Myrel, Shield of Argive provide reliable token generation when Darien is absent. Strong defensive spells like Flawless Maneuver and Flare of Fortitude protect the army against sweepers.
