Deck overview

This is a Dimir self-mill and graveyard-copy deck built around Taskmaster, Mercenary Mimic. The early game fills the graveyard with Deranged Assistant, Millikin, Cemetery Tampering, Cruel Somnophage, and Frantic Search, then weaponizes it through a dense clone package: Body Double, Clever Impersonator, Lazav, Dimir Mastermind, Superior Spider-Man, and the copy ability of the commander itself. Reanimation via Reanimate, Stitch Together, Victimize, and Liliana, Death's Majesty turns self-mill into board presence. The primary kill is a mill/drain finish: Syr Konrad, the Grim and Dreadhound convert every creature milled into damage, while The Master of Lake-town turns that life loss back into more milling. Cut Your Losses, Singularity Rupture, and Fleet Swallower supply the mass mill. Big reanimated threats like Ancient Brass Dragon, Wrexial, the Risen Deep, and Ardyn, the Usurper provide a secondary combat path.
