Mana Squirrels by JShawVA

Format: Commander

Commander: The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The deck is a mono-green Squirrel swarm deck built around The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl as its primary engine and win condition. It uses land ramp and mana doublers (Nissa Who Shakes the World, Nyxbloom Ancient, Zendikar Resurgent) to enable repeated activations of Squirrel Girl's {1}{G}{G}{G} ability, doubling the horde each time. Combat is the main win: lords and anthem-like effects (Squirrel Sovereign, Squirrel Mob, Chitterspitter, Champion of Lambholt) make the tokens break through blockers and deal lethal damage. There is no hidden commander; the other legendary creatures are support pieces. Alternative pressure comes from Ghalta, Ulamog the Defiler, and planeswalker ultimates.
