Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats strategy led by Teysa Karlov. Its main game plan builds an engine of sacrifice outlets, recurring creatures, and drain effects that trigger whenever creatures die. Teysa Karlov doubles every death trigger, accelerating card draw, mana production, and life drain. The deck controls the board with asymmetric attrition tools like Grave Pact, which clears opposing creatures whenever your own tokens or creatures die. Once an altar and a recursion engine like Pitiless Plunderer with Reassembling Skeleton or Nether Traitor enter play, the deck generates infinite death triggers to drain all opponents simultaneously. With redundant drain pieces, multiple sacrifice outlets, and extensive graveyard recursion, the deck maintains high resilience against conventional board wipes and single-target removal.
