The Beornstain Bears

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mono-green Bear tribal beatdown. The primary plan is to deploy a wide Bear board, use Beorn the Fierce as both an anthem and a repeatable combat draw engine, then finish with trample through Overwhelming Stampede, Beastmaster Ascension, or Return of the Wildspeaker. Secondary paths include token generation from Grizzly Fate, Ayula's Influence, and Dancing from Dark to Dawn, plus land-ramp synergies from The Earth King and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods. Ayula, Queen Among Bears is a hidden lieutenant in the 99, providing fight removal and +1/+1 counters. The commander is a single-faced card; the Beorn, Reluctant Host // Till and Tend Adventure card is a supporting Bear and land-ramp spell rather than a hidden commander.
