Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue combo-control strategy built around flash timing, artifact untap engines, and compact bounce loops. Commanded by The Blue Spirit, the deck leverages instant-speed creature deployment to draw cards during combat steps while assembling game-ending combos. The primary win condition utilizes Mirran Spy or Battered Golem enchanted with Retraction Helix or Banishing Knack. By repeatedly bouncing and casting free artifact creatures like Ornithopter and Memnite, the deck bounces all opposing nonland permanents, generates infinite mana through mana rocks, and draws its entire library to win with Thassa's Oracle. Secondary lines feature infinite colorless mana via Forensic Gadgeteer and Basalt Monolith, or uncounterable board sweeps with Hullbreaker Horror. Dense tutor packages, including transmute cards and artifact search, ensure rapid assembly by Turn 4 to 5. Robust interaction, spell redirection, and timing locks from Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir protect combo execution while disrupting opposing game plans.
