Deck overview

This is a mono-black reanimator-control deck helmed by Chainer, Dementia Master, designed to fill the graveyard efficiently and then deploy a relentless stream of high-impact threats at a discount. The deck leans heavily on punishing symmetrical stax pieces like The Abyss, Smokestack, and Pestilence to control the board while it builds toward a massive mana engine (Cabal Coffers, Lake of the Dead, Scorched Ruins) that eventually powers out a Helm of Obedience + Leyline of the Void combo to exile each opponent's library. Secondary win conditions include overwhelming combat damage from reanimated bombs (Sheoldred, Whispering One, Vilis, Broker of Blood, Triplicate Titan) and the Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux Reservoir life-gain loop. The commander is a flexible reanimation outlet but not essential-the 99 contains a dense reanimation suite that can function independently.
