Deck overview

This is a Golgari aristocrats and recursion midrange deck helmed by Savra, Queen of the Golgari. The plan centers on generating tokens and fodder, sacrificing creatures for value and life, and leveraging death triggers to drain the table or force edicts while rebuilding from the graveyard. Savra, Queen of the Golgari turns every black sacrifice into a potential table-wide edict and every green sacrifice into life gain, but the 99 functions as a self-contained sacrifice engine with drains, reanimation, and go-wide combat. Primary wins come from incremental life drain via Blood Artist and Marauding Blight-Priest, oversized threats like Mortivore or a transformed Westvale Abbey, and attrition through repeated edicts and wipes. The deck plays a grindy value game that outlasts opponents through recursion density rather than explosive combos.
