Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black discard stax and attrition strategy commanded by Tinybones, Trinket Thief. The primary plan focuses on deploying early resource-denial pieces such as Waste Not, Anvil of Bogardan, and Necrogen Mists to steadily empty opposing hands while using Tinybones's end-step ability to maintain full card flow. Once hands are stripped, oppressive locks like Oppression, Chains of Mephistopheles, and Ensnaring Bridge paralyze opposing development and prevent counterattacks. The deck transitions into a lethal win condition on Turn 8 through big mana generation with Cabal Coffers and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, repeatedly activating Tinybones's ability to drain empty-handed opponents for 10 life each cycle, supplemented by passive bleed from Megrim and Liliana's Caress or a game-ending Rise of the Dark Realms. While the deck possesses immense proactive denial, it relies on sorcery-speed sweepers and has limited instant-speed stack interaction, making early stax timing critical.
