Volo, Guide to Monsters ($150 version) by CAT60

Format: Commander

Commander: Volo, Guide to Monsters

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Simic creature-copy value deck built around Volo, Guide to Monsters. The plan is to cast creature spells that have a fresh creature type, letting Volo create a token copy, which doubles ETB triggers and battlefield presence. Card draw from Enduring Curiosity, Beast Whisperer, and similar effects fuels rapid chains of creature casts. The deck wins by reaching a critical mass of attackers and then playing copied overruns like End-Raze Forerunners, Thunderfoot Baloth, or God-Eternal Rhonas to trample over three opponents in one combat. A secondary token-swarm path uses Hornet Queen, Tendershoot Dryad, and Second Harvest; no infinite mana combos are present.
