Deck overview

The deck develops quickly with mana Elves, Sol Ring, Dark Ritual, and tribal mana engines such as Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid. Thranduil, the Elvenking turns Elf cards in the graveyard into additional activated abilities and rewards legendary Elf entries with a net card. The main game plan is to fill the battlefield with Elves, then use Coat of Arms, Timberwatch Elf, Elvish Warmaster, Wonder, or Lathril, Blade of the Elves to create decisive combat pressure. The deck also contains a powerful but inconsistent combo: Priest of Titania and Staff of Domination can generate infinite mana and draw the deck once five Elves are present. Creature tutors support the Elf half of that plan, but access to Staff of Domination, a final payoff, and protection is limited. As a result, the deck is a strong casual tribal engine rather than a dependable fast-combo or lock deck.
