Deck overview

Jean-Luc Picard, Luminary helms an aggressive Jeskai artifact and Spacecraft midrange deck that converts historic permanents into immediate card advantage and counter proliferation. Accelerated by premier mana rocks including Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Moxen, the deck deploys Picard on turn 2 or 3 and follows up with high-impact 3+ CMC historic cards like Simulacrum Synthesizer, Shorikai, Genesis Engine, and various legendary Spacecraft. Drawing cards triggers Picard's Seek out ability to rapidly place charge counters on Spacecraft and +1/+1 counters on creatures. Station thresholds unlock flying behemoths, while Tom Paris and Cyberdrive Awakener provide immediate evasive finishing power. Supported by an elite suite of free counterspells and targeted removal, the list protects its critical turns and overwhelms opponents with scaling board presence by turn 6.
