Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis battlecruiser midrange strategy that leverages Demon tribal synergies and cascade mechanics. Commanded by Abaddon the Despoiler, the deck aims to damage opponents during combat or through incidental burn spells to grant cascade to cards cast from hand. Once active, each high-cost spell triggers free spells from the top of the library, rapidly deploying massive board presence. Win conditions center on trampling Demon combat damage, extra combat steps from Bloodthirster, and direct damage engines such as Warstorm Surge, Keeper of Secrets, and Be'lakor, the Dark Master. The deck features solid late-game resiliency and substantial card flow, but relies on higher mana costs and lacks cheap stack protection, making it vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and targeted removal.
