Deck overview

This is a thematic Orzhov Phyrexian deck built around Ria Ivor, Bane of Bladehold, Mite production, toxic, proliferate, and death or token triggers. The normal plan is to develop cheap Phyrexians and artifacts, cast Ria Ivor, Bane of Bladehold, then attack to turn one combat-damage event into Mites. Cards such as Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos, Metastatic Evangel, Norn's Choirmaster, Corpse Knight, and Mirkwood Bats can turn that board into poison counters or life loss. The deck has solid creature and permanent removal and acceptable card draw, but its many tapped lands slow it down. It lacks tutors, stack interaction, dependable protection, and a compact table-kill route. Poison pressure is incremental, and the plan needs several combat steps while remaining vulnerable to sweepers and removal. It is best played as a resilient casual-mid-power swarm deck, not as a fast combo or cEDH strategy.
