Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Doctor Octopus, Master Planner commands a Dimir Villain typal deck centered on value generation, card advantage, and wide board combat. The deck utilizes early Villain threats like Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord and Kang, Temporal Tyrant to filter cards via connive while steadily building board presence. Once established, casting Doctor Octopus provides an immediate refill to eight cards and gives all Villains a +2/+2 stat boost. The primary win condition is closing out games through overwhelming combat damage, supported by token generators like Doctor Doom, one-sided wipes like Raise the Palisade, and evasive assistance from Vulture, Scheming Scavenger.
