Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Orzhov Aristocrats and life-drain combo deck led by Niv-Mizzet, Ghost Counsel. The primary strategy focuses on establishing early mana acceleration and card draw engines through token generators like Skrelv's Hive and Dreadhorde Invasion paired with sacrifice outlets like Skullclamp and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. The commander acts as a high-end card engine, converting life gain triggers directly into card advantage to dig for key win conditions. The deck's primary win path is the compact infinite two-card combo of Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, which drains all three opponents to zero life in a single turn once initiated. Robust secondary win conditions include Bloodchief Ascension paired with Mindcrank, Bolas's Citadel value storms, and wide Aristocrats life-drain attrition. Supported by potent white protection spells like Grand Abolisher and Silence, the deck reliably defends its winning turns against opposing interaction.
