Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius flying tribal aggro-control deck led by Kangee, Sky Warden. The game plan revolves around casting cost-efficient creatures with flying, deploying team-wide aerial anthems, and attacking over opposing ground defenses. Early turns focus on mana acceleration with cheap mana rocks and cost-reducers like Watcher of the Spheres alongside small evasive threats like Skycat Sovereign and Empyrean Eagle. In the midgame, the deck establishes card advantage through combat-damage draw engines such as Bident of Thassa and Reconnaissance Mission, replenishing resources while applying consistent life total pressure. Once Kangee, Sky Warden or high-impact finishers like Gravitational Shift, True Conviction, and Akroma's Will hit the battlefield, the deck converts its wide aerial board into lethal combat swings. The deck supports this aggressive clock with efficient spot removal, board wipes, and protective countermagic or invulnerability effects like Selfless Spirit and Sephara, Sky's Blade to safeguard its creatures against mass removal.
