MARNEUS TOKEN MIDRANGEHELL *WIP* by Carvaccio1704

Format: Commander

Commander: Marneus Calgar

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Marneus Calgar commands an Esper control and combo list that blends token generation, heavy card advantage, and compact win lines. While Marneus acts as an engine drawing cards off token generation from Smothering Tithe, Lotho, and Bitterblossom, the primary path to victory is the compact Demonic Consultation and Thassa's Oracle combo. The deck establishes early control using efficient stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate and Deafening Silence, supported by free countermagic and proactive turn-stoppers. If the primary combo is disrupted, the deck pivots into token drain lines with Warren Soultrader, Kambal, Profiteering Mayor, or Sephiroth, grinding out opponents through overwhelming resource disparity.
