Have Banana by Danno

Format: Commander

Commander: Kibo, Uktabi Prince

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kibo, Uktabi Prince is a Gruul Ape/Monkey tribal deck built around a genuinely unusual engine: the commander hands the whole table free artifact tokens (Bananas), then punishes those same artifacts. Kibo's attack trigger forces the defending player to sacrifice an artifact - usually their own Banana - and every artifact an opponent loses from the battlefield puts a +1/+1 counter on each Ape and Monkey you control, including the changelings. The deck pairs this with a heavy artifact-destruction suite (Vandalblast, Shattering Pulse, Gearbane Orangutan) to keep the counter engine firing while denying opponents their mana rocks. Wins come from combat: a pumped Ape army, Grunn, the Lonely King as a kicked voltron threat, and Finale of Devastation or Kindred Summons as overrun-style closers. It is a fair, grindy midrange deck that snowballs through incremental +1/+1 counters.
