Budget Queen Akido by GreaterDolch

Format: Commander

Commander: Queen Marchesa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Queen Marchesa is a political Mardu monarch deck that turns table incentives into card advantage and tempo. The early game establishes the monarch with a hasty Marchesa, then uses goad, pillow-fort pieces such as Ghostly Prison, and bribes like Breena and Secret Rendezvous to keep opponents fighting each other while you accrue cards. The primary finish is the two-card infinite combo of Twinflame and Dualcaster Mage, generating an arbitrary number of hasty tokens for combat. A secondary removal-and-damage loop with Brash Taunter can clear board or close games, and Gisela plus Sunforger provides a beatdown pressure valve. The hidden commander is the monarch itself: keeping the crown is the deck's main engine and defensive strategy.
