Deck overview

Zaxara, the Exemplary commands a potent Sultai big-mana and combo deck focused on generating infinite mana through creature untap synergies. The primary game plan pairs Zaxara with Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura to generate infinite colored mana, which is immediately channeled into game-ending spells like Torment of Hailfire or Finale of Devastation. In games where the combo is delayed, the deck transitions into a high-value midrange engine using Unbound Flourishing, Doubling Season, and Hydroid Krasis to create massive Hydra tokens and draw cards. Robust acceleration from 1-2 CMC ramp pieces ensures Zaxara lands early, while versatile interaction such as Deadly Rollick, Mana Drain, and Cyclonic Rift protects the combo and disrupts opponents. This combination of speed, redundancy, and alternative big-mana lines makes the list consistently dangerous by Turn 4 or 5.
